Spend your summer in Stirling, Scotland! The International Summer School (ISS) is a great way to earn course credit and experience Scottish culture. Stirling offers many different festivals and events and the famous cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow are a short train ride away.

The Stirling International Summer School (ISS) offers a variety of options for summer programs. There are two blocks of courses and you take 2 modules in each course or you can also participate in an internship! Courses available focus on art, history, social science, and more.
Modules are offered in two blocks:
June 8th- July 6th
July 6th- August 3rd
Stay for one or both blocks and earn up to 6 credits per block (3 credits per module taken). An internship option is offered in Block 2 (must take courses in Module 1). Learn about the internship on the program website

Stirling ISS also offers extracurricular activities and days trips that are part of the tuition fee.
These may include movie nights, Scottish dancing, and excursions to St. Andrews and Edinburgh.
Discounts are offered for weekend trips to other parts of Scotland such as Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye.
All International Summer School students will be housed in on-campus apartment-style accommodation. The campus is surrounded by beautiful walking trails, the University’s Loch, golf course, and is flanked by the towering hill called Dumyat.
It is about a five minute walk to all teaching buildings, library facilities, shops, theatre, cinema, public transportation links and social areas.
